The Atlanta PBS station PBA 30 will be airing a documentary called “Four Days at Dragon*Con.” You can watch a great trailer for it above. If you’re in the Atlanta area and have PBA 30 (I only get their other Atlanta station PBS 8), check it out. Visit their Facebook Page for air dates.
It leaves the impression that all there is to do is costumes and origami panels, but it’s rare to find media treatments of fandom and conventions that don’t treat fans as socially stunted weirdos. It handles its subject with dignity and understanding, and I hope to get to watch the whole thing.
