James Palmer has written articles, interviews, reviews, columns, and poetry for Strange Horizons, The Internet Review of Science Fiction, Continuum SF, RevolutionSF.com, SciFiKuest, and Blood Blade and Thruster: The Magazine of Speculative Fiction and Satire, among others.
James edited the charity anthology Voices for the Cure, which benefits the American Diabetes Association, and features work by Robert J. Sawyer, Mike Resnick, Cory Doctorow, and others.
He also wrote the introduction to the White Rocket Books reprint of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ The Warlord of Mars. James has two stories in anthologies being published by Airship 27 Productions, including Van Allen Plexico Presents Gideon Cain and the forthcoming Mars McCoy: Space Ranger Vol. II with Van Allen Plexico. A staff writer for Pro Se Productions, James is the creator and writer of the pulp characters Lao Fang and the forthcoming Sam Eldritch, Occult Investigator for Hire. He also writes various weird horror tales for Pro Se’s pulp magazine Fantasy & Fear.
